The Magical Fairy Adventure Patch

girl scout faery patch

Goes to The first 60 Girl Scouts attending the F.A.E. (Faerie and Earth Festival) in May, 2016 at

Highland Lake Cove Retreat Center

217 Rhett Drive – Flat Rock, NC

Here is an image of the patch (Magical Faery/Fairy Adventure) Girl Scouts will receive when they attend our Faerie And Earth Festival this upcoming May 21 & 22 in Flat Rock. I will have samples with me when I do my presentation at the Girl Scout Leader’s Meeting on March 15 in Hendersonville, NC. In fact I will have the patches with me to offer to the Leaders so they will be able to share directly to their Troops and Girls. We have had these patches each year and have passed out a total of 88 patches in the past two years. There are two different spellings of Fairy or Faery on the patches. It does not matter which patch, however when I get an estimated count, we will order more patches. The main requirement is that they have to attend a Fairy Event and participate in the event in order to receive the patch. This patch was designed by Debbie Rothstein of A Faery Hunt (www.afaeryhunt.com) in Los Angeles, CA.

We are requesting the Girl Scout Council (Peaks 2 Piedmont) to set up a booth space to promote their many programs, actively recruit girls to join, share their community rewards and set up for future cookie sales. Our first year at F.A.E. Molly Smith from the Council Office did set up a space and recruited many new girls and recorded who received patches. Molly set-up in the Kid’s Zone, which is now being maintained by the Fairy Folk School with Vixi Jil Glen. This is the area where we recommend the Girl Scouts to set-up their booth space.

I am planning to be at the Girl Scout Leader’s meeting on March 15 with Vixi Jil Glen, Director of the Faerie Folk School, Pamela Woods a FAEteam Member and Patricia Springer, my wife from Florida will be joining me for this opportunity to share about our festival and the patches. We will be available March 15-17 to meet with other FAEteam Members; to tour the Retreat House/Sanctuary; meet potential Sponsors; to sit and walk the festival grounds and develop a new map of the site. I will not have a new cell phone until the end of April, just before our E.L.F. (Enchanted Living Forest) School, happening at the Terra Nova Center in Cedar Mountain, NC.

We still have openings for our ELF School, if you are interested, please contact me directly about the costs, program and lodging.
