Trees & Arches

Greetings!

One of the first things we tell and show to our attendees is the capability of healings from trees.  Let me share with you an experienced my wife had years ago:

One late afternoon my wife, Patricia, came home from work and when she stepped through the door, she had a very painful and stressed look upon her face.  I asked her,  "What is the level of your pain?".  She commented, "On a scale of one to ten, where ten is the highest, my pain is at an eight!".  I said to her, "Go out and talk to the tree!".  We had a beautiful double oak tree in front of our duplex.  So Patricia went out and talked with the tree and as she stood there she said, "Thank you tree for providing shade for our home.  Thank you tree for being a super highway for the squirrels.  Thank you tree for protecting our home during storms.  Thank you tree for being an air conditioner and providing clean clear air for us to breathe. Oh, by the way, could you please take this pain from my body!".  She was out there for nearly ten minutes or so, however she came back into the house, smiling.  So I asked her, "What is the level of your pain now?".  She replied, "It is now at one half of one!".  I said to her, "This is your stuff and you can deal with it!".  She developed a relationship with this tree and other trees in our yard and they all became her healers of stress and pain.

Then during our Enchanted Tour of North Carolina several years ago, Patricia started having stresses and pain in her body because of all the driving we were doing.  It was then I recommended to her to tune in to the tree back home to take her pain away.  She did and all her pain went away.  So we learned once you have a relationship with a tree, one can connect to that tree any where in the world to relieve your personal stresses and pains.  Try it for yourself, however one must remember to thank and praise the tree before asking the tree to help you.

Another example on this theme relates to an eighty-five year young lady who joined us for an Enchanted Walk in one of local parks.  She was concerned she could not walk the distance, however I shared with her about the healing of trees.  So I watched her connect and talk to the trees around our gathering area and as we walked.  She walked the entire park with us on that day.  Later in the evening I called her to see how she was doing and she said. "I have not felt this good for nearly twenty five years.  I am going to find my tree tomorrow and I will tell my friends about this!  To have no pain without using medication is totally amazing, thanks to the trees!".

Well, I believe this is what you are seeking for your Blog.  If you would like I can send to you the exercise about asking flowers to release more fragrance once you start acknowledging and loving them.  Please let me know if you need additional information or insights.

By the way, if I had not mentioned it, my friend Hank Bruce, a Horticulture Therapist in NM who used to live in the Central Florida area has written several books, including the book entitled, "Gardens for the Senses, Gardening as Therapy".  If you want to find it, here is the ISBN Number:  0-932855-57-1.  This will give you great supplemental information for your Blog and for future references.

Always Be In Joy!
